WORLD BAMBOO DAY Full HISTORY
Kamesh Salam created World Bamboo Day. From 2007 to 2010 salam they presided over the World Bamboo Organization. He planned Bangkok’s eighth World Bamboo Congress in 2009. He and representatives from more than 100 countries announced September 18th as World Bamboo Day during this conference. They chose this day as Royal Thai Forestry Day.
